Henry Riley is a first-generation farmer, having not worked on a farm until he was 22. He took on work for a 3000 ewe flock electric fencing and manual labour. He went on to work as an assistant shepherd and head shepherd.
He has a keen interest in regenerative agriculture and fits the sheep and cattle into the farming jigsaw.
Having not attended further education, Henry fills his knowledge gaps with farm tours, health groups, and conferences. This applied knowledge has helped him improve on the enthusiasm he brings to work.
Henry joined Law Farming in 2019 as Livestock Manager with a focus on ewe and cow health. Introducing rotational grazing to the cattle operation and improving lamb quality has helped the livestock part of the business.
