Caravan & motorhome site at Thrift Farm

We welcome CAMC members to Thrift Farm. It is an easily accessible, dog-friendly, one-acre site which has far-reaching views over Cambridgeshire in one direction and into the wooded and undulating landscape of Hertfordshire in another. There is a network of public footpaths across the farm.

Each pitch is well served by EHU, drinking water tap and grey water disposal. There is a black water disposal point, recycling and rubbish bins. Footpath maps are available on request.

If you need to top up supplies, within a 5-minute drive on the ring road around Royston, you will find a large Tesco (car charging available) and M&S Food /Aldi.

A network of footpaths can be accessed directly from the site taking you to Therfield Heath SSSI or the villages of Therfield and Kelshall (and beyond), with the Heath Café or Fox and Duck, Therfield, making great destinations or stop-off points for walkers. Take your binoculars, for many reasons, there is much to see on the way.

Our historic local market town of Royston, with its cave and museum, is on the north Hertfordshire border, with Cambridgeshire, Essex and Bedfordshire nearby. In any direction, a short drive, walk or cycle takes you into well-maintained, attractive villages.

Thrift Farm is within easy access to the A1M and M11 motorways, is only 30 mins drive from Cambridge, and there is a direct train line to Royston from Cambridge and London Kings Cross. There is usually plenty of on-site parking.
