Chris Gemmill

Chris grew up on a family farm on the Essex/Hertfordshire border, where his passion for farming began. He attended the University of Nottingham, where he attained a BSc in Agriculture. Following this, he joined Velcourt as a Trainee Farm Manager, progressing to Farm Manager, working on several businesses around the UK

Chris joined Law Farming in 2021 as Farm Manager, predominantly overseeing the arable side of the business.

High levels of attention to detail whilst improving efficiencies on the farm remain a key part of Chris’ role as we continue to grow high-value milling and seed crops. He is always looking for new opportunities and ideas to help strengthen the business.
